The tantric path is wild, intense, and unpredictable.  It is considered the ‘fast path to awakening’ because it is dangerous.  The fire is hot.  And we’ve been burned multiple times.

We would have never made it through the depths of darkness without key mentors at specific times.  This page is here to honor them and their contributions to our life and our love.  

David Cates - David is a taoist and tantric master. He was one of the original founders of the International School of Temple Arts and is one of the most interesting and awake humans we’ve ever met.  We consider him our Spiritual Grandfather.  

For 7 years,we studied intimately with him while he transmitted ancient codes of wisdom and guided us through our most challenging conflicts.  He taught us so much about Love, Death, Sex and God and initiated us to the tantric and spiritual realms. Many of our teachings stem from our lessons with him.

Jon & Missy Butcher - We met Jon and Missy when we were looking at acquiring their company Lifebook. They were the first couple we ever met who truly had it all.  4 kids. Billions in revenue across multiple companies. And, after 30 years of marriage, they had a more passionate and turned on love life than any couple we’ve ever met.

For years, every quarter we’d fly to their home to spend a long weekend with them. Jon & Missy welcomed us into their home, into their family and truly showed us behind the scenes how a couple plays at the highest levels of creativity and life.  They blazed a trail for couples and are our #1 role models for how to build a devoted, sensual, and polarized relationship while building companies that have a massive impact on the world.  

(Sidenote:  Jon & Missy were mentored by Nathaniel Branden for 20 years.  Nathaniel was mentored by Ayn Rand for 20 years.  So a small shoutout to our philosophical lineage that goes all the way back to Atlas Shrugged, Fountainhead and Objectivism roots.)

Annie & Eben Pagan - Annie & Eben were the first couple who showed us it was possible to play this game together.  They were the first couple who taught us it was okay to engage in conflict and taught us strategies that helped our relationship at critical thresholds.  We consider Annie one of the best in the world at helping couples navigate conflict.  

Bryan Franklin & Jennifer Russel - We first met Bryan and Jennifer at one of their retreats.  Their teachings unlocked a world of creativity, self expression and powerful relational dynamics we had never seen before. And they just happen to be two of the best group facilitators we’ve ever worked with.  

Our Community & Friends - For years, we did all our relational work in private.  Without the support of our friends and community, we would have never taken the stage or taught these ideas in public.
